MARBLE HILL -- The Rev. Marvin Ross Moore, 79, of Fredericktown died Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born at Glen Allen July 20, 1915, to Milam M. Moore and Edlaid Lee Moore. He was a retired warehouseman for Kroger Companies in St. Louis and a retired Southern Baptist minister.
He married Rhonda Cheek Oct. 5, 1941. She preceded him in death on March 30, 1978. He was veteran of World War II, and a member of the Moore Chapel Baptist Church near Marquand.
He is survived by one son, Doyle Moore of Arnold; one brother, the Rev. Ray Moore of Fredericktown; and three grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were three brothers and one sisiter.
Visitation will be Saturday after 9 a.m. at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Services will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Charles Hawn.
Burial will be at Moore Chapel Cemetery near Marquand.
