The Rev. Laura Marie Stoner, 64, of Jackson died Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born Dec. 3, 1938, in Careywood, Idaho, daughter of the Rev. Jesse and Lutie Kennedy Jett. She and Charles Kenneth Stoner were married Jan. 7, 1959. He died April 22, 1997...

The Rev. Laura Marie Stoner, 64, of Jackson died Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Dec. 3, 1938, in Careywood, Idaho, daughter of the Rev. Jesse and Lutie Kennedy Jett. She and Charles Kenneth Stoner were married Jan. 7, 1959. He died April 22, 1997.

Stoner was pastor of and a member of Jackson Congregational Methodist Mission, and a member of Jackson Ministerial Alliance, Jackson Revival Center and Jackson Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Stoner of Dyess, Ark., Paul Stoner of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Della Bollinger of Jackson; a brother, Patrick Jett of Gordonville; a sister, Della Dry of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son and a brother.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo., from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dean Heady officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery near Gipsy, Mo.
