Terry Jones

Terry Joseph Jones, 54, of Park Hills, Mo., formerly of Jackson, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, in Pocahontas, Ill.

He was born Jan. 24, 1957, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lynn Vanus and Dorothy Ruch Jones.

Jones was a truck driver with Proffer Produce Co. in Park Hills.

Survivors include three sisters, Shirley Cook of Marble Hill, Mo., Martha Bowers of Jackson, Betty Jones of Shingle Springs, Calif.; four brothers, Darrell Jones of Cape Girardeau, Mitchell Jones of Imperial, Mo., Gary Jones of Barnhart, Mo., Joe Jones of Jasper, Ind.; and a half sister, Linda Dowd of Chaffee, Mo.

A graveside service was held Thursday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating.

Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill was in charge of arrangements.
