Terry Jerome Gockel, 44, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 20, 2000, at his home. He was born Aug. 2, 1955, at Cape Girardeau, son of Leon Henry and Helen Louise Miller Gockel. He was a member of the Cape Girardeau Municipal Band for many years and also traveled with the Jack Stallcup Band. Gockel also worked for Shivelbine's Music Store for many years...
Terry Jerome Gockel, 44, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 20, 2000, at his home.
He was born Aug. 2, 1955, at Cape Girardeau, son of Leon Henry and Helen Louise Miller Gockel.
He was a member of the Cape Girardeau Municipal Band for many years and also traveled with the Jack Stallcup Band. Gockel also worked for Shivelbine's Music Store for many years.

Survivors include two uncles, Edison Miller of Cape Girardeau and George S. Miller of St. Louis; two aunts, Clare Wells of Decatur, Ill., and Gerri Gladish of Cape Girardeau; and five cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home at Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ron Watts officiating.
