DEXTER -- Terry Cobb, 51, of Dexter died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 2, 1947, in Portageville, son of Evelyn Woody Cobb Wyatt and the late James Otto Cobb.
He had been a resident of Dexter most of his life. He was a former employee of Federal Mogul in Malden and a former police officer for the Dexter Police Department. He attended the Assembly of God Church in Dexter.
He is survived by his mother; two sons, Michael Cobb and Scott Cobb, both of Missouri; two sisters, June Curtis of Dexter and Sue Phillips of Hollister; a half brother, Joey Alexander of Tennessee; and a special friend, Loretta Douglas of Dexter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Alvie Ash officiating.
Burial will be at the Dexter Cemetery.
