Terry Alan Baker, 55, of Scott City died Friday, March 14, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 2, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, to Alvie Gene and Gladys Jewel Hensley Baker. He and Jill Rae Boren were married Aug. 14, 1976.

Terry was a school bus driver with Cape Girardeau School District and former owner of Auto Stop Auto Sales in Cape Girardeau. He was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his wife, Jill of Scott City; parents, Alvie and Gladys Baker of Scott City; a son, Race Baker; three daughters, Tara (Bryan) McKinley, Kaleigh (John) Graff and Macie Baker, all of Scott City; two sisters, Debbi Baker of Morse Mill, Mo., and Cyndi Baker of Scott City; and five grandchildren, Chance, Chevy, Olivia, Chloe and Colton.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel to offset the funeral expenses.
