SIKESTON -- Tennie Morris, 74, of Sikeston, died Sunday, May 26, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 17, 1917, at Portageville, daughter of Bailey and Jessie White Lovins. She married James Paul Morris Sr. Oct. 3, 1931, at New Madrid. He died Feb. 22, 1982.
Morris had lived in Sikeston 18 years, and was a member of First United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Morris of New Madrid; five daughters, Pauline Adams of Sikeston, Hazel Frazier of New Madrid, Normaline Brewer of Litchfield, Ill., Loretta Leeker of Arnold, Peggy Hardesty of Granite City, Ill.; a brother, Robert Lovins of Aurora, Ill.; two sisters, Bertha Adams and Vera Craig of Ottawa, Ill.; 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son,
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Billie Butler will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 9-11:30 a.m. today, and at the church from noon until time of service.
