Tempa Pauline Simmons, 58, of Scott City died Monday, July 7, 2003, at her home.

She was born Dec. 8, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Fred K. and LaVern Martha Margaret Sanders Wolfe. She and Lyman "Boyd" Simmons were married May 16, 1965, at Scott City.

Simmons was an assembler at Blair Packaging. She moved to Scott City nine years ago from Harvey, La. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Ferguson, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Tracy Simmons of Houston, Miss., Brian Simmons of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Angela Gross of Fruitland; her mother of Scott City; a sister, Eileen McMurran of St. Louis; six grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 4 p.m. Thursday.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Azinger officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery near Commerce, Mo.
