Ted Painton

ENTERPRISE, Ala. — With great sadness, the family of Ted Miller Painton announces the loss of their loved one.

Ted, 61, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at his home in Enterprise.

Ted was an Army Blackhawk pilot. He started flying at the young age of 12.

He loved hunting and fishing. Ted was also a physical therapist for the county health department. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Ted had a beautiful soul. He was a wonderful father, husband, brother, son, grandfather and friend.

Survivors include his two sons, Ryan M. (Caitlin) Painton of Pensacola, Florida, and Andrew J. Painton of Auburn, Alabama; a sister, Jane M. Painton of Cape Girardeau; a grandson, Kip M. Painton; and a beloved dog, Sadie.

Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Miriam Painton, and by his parents, James and Ruth Painton.
