The infant was stillborn Sunday, July 6, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his parents, Ted Robert and Brenda Wilson Mason of Altenburg; a brother, Andrew Mason of the home; maternal grandmother, Joyce Wilson of Dexter; paternal grandparents, Art and Re Mason of Ward, Ark.; maternal great-grandfather, Oral Fortner of Cardwell; and paternal great-grandfather, Paul Johnson of San Angelo, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.
