DEXTER, Mo. -- Tayna Renee Robinson, 33, of Dexter, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born June 5, 1974, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of the Rev. Therman Lee and Norma Jean Cooper King. She and Billy Walpole were married, and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2004. She then married David Robinson on Dec. 23, 2006, at Dexter.
Robinson was a member of the Morehouse Baptist Church and attended the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter. She was a graduate of Dexter High School.
Survivors include her husband; her mother; two brothers, Dennis King of Fisk, Mo., and Randy King of Bloomfield, Mo.; eight sisters, Betty Metcalf of Bloomfield, Bonnie Fran Lockhart of Cape Girardeau, Cathy O'Neal of Prairieville, La., Connie Hattaway of Alexandria, La., Regina Mick and Robyn Berry of Dexter, Becky Maddox of Clarkton, Mo., and Rhonda Cooper of Springfield, Mo.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral home in Dexter. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with the Revs. Tim Russell and Gary L. Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield.
