SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Tammy Renee Zitter, 46, of Springfield died Thursday, April 5, 2018, peacefully in her sleep with her husband by her side.
She was born Sept. 26, 1971, in Cape Girardeau to Michael Wayne Lohmann and Becky Fowler McCormick Whitlatch. She was raised by her Grandma Jewell Fowler and Uncle Mike Fowler. She and Scott Zitter married Dec. 15, 2001.
She is survived by her husband; her parents; four children, Danielle (Chris) Ivey, and Chelsea, Britni and Chyanne Zitter; six grandchildren, Layne, Erica, C.J., Rayna, Marley and Melody; six brothers, Jason (Myra) McCormick, Shawn McCormick, Vince McCormick, David McCormick, Chad Lohmann and Mark Lohmann; three sisters, Tonna Baremore, Angie Osborne and Kimberly Davidson; and paternal grandfather, Fred Norris.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Asier Fowler; maternal grandmother, Jewell Fowler; paternal grandmother, Wanda Norris; and stepfathers, David "Poonie" McCormick and H.L. "Bud" Whitlatch.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
