JACKSON -- Tammy Kaye Hoffman, 37, of Jackson died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 9, 1963, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William and Linda Cook Brown. She and Mark Hoffman were married Feb. 19, 1983, in Jackson.
Hoffman was a 1981 graduate of Jackson High School.
She worked at the American Medical Society in Cape Girardeau from 1991-96, and owned and operated Bloomin' Balloons and Flowers in Cape Girardeau from 1996 until March 2000.
Hoffman was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and was involved with St. Paul School activities.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Matthew Hoffman of the home; a daughter, Michelle Hoffman of the home; her mother and stepfather, Linda and Truman Mouser of Jackson; her father of Jackson; and a brother, Danny Brown of Cape Girardeau.
Also surviving are two stepsisters, Jennifer Bien of Dexter, Debbie Robinson of Advance; a stepbrother, Lannie Abernathy of Memphis, Tenn.; maternal grandparents, Lindell and Ruby Cook of Jackson; paternal grandmother, Marie Brown of Jackson; and maternal great-grandmother, Maude Gohn of Jackson.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today, and Thursday at St. Paul Church after 9:30 a.m.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
