SYLVIA GOODPASTURE

Graveside service for Sylvia Goodpasture, 30 N. Hanover, was held Tuesday at Lorimier Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Catterton officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Goodpasture, 84, died Monday, May 29, 1995, at her home.

She was born April 2, 1911, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Richard Sterling and Elizabeth Trader Price. On June 9, 1930, she married Alexander Goodpasture at Mound City, Ill. He died Feb. 22, 1959.

Survivors include two sons, Garl Goodpasture of Melrose Park, Ill., Bill Goodpasture of Jonesboro, Ill.; three daughters, Aneda Bennett and Barbara Goodpasture of Cape Girardeau, Virginia Hicks of East St. Louis, Ill.; four brothers, Millard, Woodrow, Richard and Dennis Price, all of Cape Girardeau; 24 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
