SYLVIA GOODPASTURE

Sylvia Goodpasture, 84, of 30 N. Hanover, Apt. 1, died Monday, May 29, 1995, at her home.

She was born April 2, 1911, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Richard Sterling and Elizabeth Trader Price. On June 9, 1930, she married Alexander Goodpasture at Mound City, Ill. He preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1959.

Survivors include two sons, Garl Goodpasture of Melrose Park, Ill., and Bill Goodpasture of Jonesboro, Ill.; three daughters, Aneda Bennett and Barbara Goodpasture of Cape Girardeau and Virginia Hicks of East St. Louis, Ill.; four brothers, Millard Goodpasture, Woodrow Goodpasture, Richard Goodpasture and Dennis Goodpasture, all of Cape Girardeau; 24 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Paul Catterton will officiate. Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
