CHARLESTON -- Sylvia Denise Campbell, 27, of Charleston died Thursday, July 3, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born July 1, 1970, at Charleston, daughter of Tommy Tipler and Helen Campbell.
Campbell attended Charleston High School.
Survivors include a daughter, Lameisha Campbell, and a son, Calvin Campbell, both of Charleston; her father of Ullin, ILl.; three sisters, Tina, Drynell and Angela Campbell, all of Charleston; five brothers, Calvin and Johnny Campbell of East Prairie, Robert Campbell of Oceanside, Calif., James Campbell of Virginia Beach, Va., and Nathan Campbell of Kansas City.
Other survivors include a half brother, Tommy Tipler Jr. of Ullin; four half sisters, Cynthia, Ella and Sylvia Tipler, and Debra Bosse, all of Ullin; stepgrandmother, Nellie Carroll of Washington, D.C.; and a special friend, Tremaine Jones of Charleston.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Bowden Civic Center, with Elder Robert Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the center from 2-3 p.m.
