PUXICO -- Funeral service for Suzie Landon of Puxico will be held at 10 a.m. today at Hobbs Chapel Church near Puxico. The Revs. Gary Green, Wiley McGhee and Amos Dees will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Puxico is in charge of arrangements.
Landon, 50, died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, at Westwood Hills Health Care Center in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Jan. 13, 1947, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of James A. and Helen Trent Hobbs. She and Roger Landon were married May 21, 1986, at Inver Grove Heights, Minn.
Landon was formerly of California and Minnesota, and had resided in Puxico four years. She was a member of Hobbs Church.
Survivors include her husband; her parents of Puxico; and a sister, Jayan VanBurgen of St. Louis.
