Suzanne Lee Jones Lewis departed her earthly life Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at the age of 80.
She was born Dec. 22, 1941, the daughter of Clarence Anderson and Frieda Dillingham Jones.
Suzanne had worked in banking and as a teacher's aide and was a mother and homemaker.
In her married life as a Navy wife, she lived in Pensacola, Florida, and San Diego. She later returned to Cape Girardeau, where she resided the last several years.
Suzanne is survived by her former husband, Earl Lewis Jr.; and two sons, Earl (Andrea) Lewis III and Keith (Jillian) Lewis of San Diego. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Ledger and Lillian; a sister, Marsha (Kevin) Hillemann of Scott City; five nieces; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Jane Albrecht; and one brother, Jimmy Jones.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Eisleben Lutheran in Church in Scott City.
Arrangements were by McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
