CAIRO, Ill. -- Susie P. Taylor, 92, of Cairo died Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Daystar Care Center. She was born March 11, 1914, in Tullahoma, Tenn., daughter of Noonan and Lillie Edwards Bagby. CAIRO, Ill. -- Susie P. Taylor, 92, of Cairo died Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Daystar Care Center.

She was born March 11, 1914, in Tullahoma, Tenn., daughter of Noonan and Lillie Edwards Bagby.

Taylor was employed more than 20 years at the former St. Mary's Hospital. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Snelson of Cairo; a son, Allen Fletcher of Cairo; two sisters, Mae Fleming and Bertha Wilson of Cairo; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There is no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church, with the Revs. Tom Hoskins and Bill Gholson officiating. Private burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds, Ill.

Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
