SIKESTON -- Susie Mae Leigh, 79, of Sikeston, died Sunday, June 9, 1991, at Henry County General Hospital in Paris, Tenn.
She was born Oct. 11, 1911, at Fulton, Miss., daughter of Albert Anderson and Martha Ann Welch Clayton. She married William Cecil Leigh May 4, 1940, at Caruthersville.
Leigh was a member of First Baptist Church here and its Fidelis Class.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jim Leigh of Paris, Skip Leigh of Owensboro, Ky.; two daughters, Sue Leigh of the home, Barbara Leigh of St. Louis; a brother, James Clayton of North Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Anna Westpheling of Willis Point, Texas; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, W.C. Leigh Jr., and six brothers.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jim Guffie will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service.
