MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Susie Reba Colleen Kellett Kight, 92, of Memphis passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015.
She was born Nov. 29, 1922, in Thayer, Missouri, to William A. and Willia E. Webber Kellett.
Most of Colleen's life was spent in the Southeast Missouri area. She moved to Memphis in 1974 and attended Raleigh & Bartlett Woods Church of Christ. She spent much of her time in the garden, canning in the summer and being active with her family, friends and neighbors.
Colleen is survived by two daughters, Myra Rhodes and Kathy Cooper (Fred); a son, Gary Kight (Linda); seven grandchildren, Tiffany Rogers (Steven), Torey Rhodes, Derek Cooper (Katherine), Brandon Cooper (Christy), Jamey Kight (Shana), Lindsey Koch (Marty) and Sam Kight (Amanda); 14 great-grandchildren, Teal, Stevie, Joy, Cameron, Connor, Carson, Casey, Corbin, Nick, Lizzie, Zach, Cole, Molly and Claire.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. today at Forest Hill Funeral Home East in Memphis. Burial will be in Bartlett Ellendale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ukraine Missions c/o Bartlett Woods Church of Christ, 7900 Old Brownsville Road, Arlington, TN 38002.
