Susan Lynn Thompson, 32, passed away at her home in Cape Girardeau, Tuesday, June 26, 2007.

Susie grew up in St. Wendel, Ind., where she attended St. Wendel Catholic School. She graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1993. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1997 with a bachelor of science degree. She was employed at Procter & Gamble.

Susie is survived by her parents, Tommy and Mary Jane Thompson of St. Wendel; her fiance, Charles Lilly of Scott City; two sisters, Christine of St. Wendel, Melissa (Jack) Crowe of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Dan (Amanda) Thompson of Evansville, Ind.; nieces, Emily Crowe, Ashlyn Thompson, Kayleen Crowe; nephews, Brenden Crowe and Adam Thompson.

Susie was a free spirit who loved everyone. She always found the good in people. She had many friends. A special person in Susie's life was her fiance's mother, a friend, Becky Lilly. She loved animals, especially her dog Sammie.

Visitation will be at Stodghill Funeral Home, Highway 168 West, Fort Branch, Ind., Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. A rosary and memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 that evening.

A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Wendel Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Tony Ernst will be the celebrant.

There will be a visitation at the church Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until service time.

Memorial contributions in memory of Susie may be made to the St. Wendel Church, or the American Cancer Society.
