Susan L. Neupert, 55, of Scott City passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at the home of her daughter after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by all who loved her. She was born Nov. 16, 1961, in Memphis, Tennessee, daughter of Roy C. and Anna F. Graham. She and Brian E. Neupert were married in January 1985 for 13 years...

Susan L. Neupert, 55, of Scott City passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at the home of her daughter after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by all who loved her.

She was born Nov. 16, 1961, in Memphis, Tennessee, daughter of Roy C. and Anna F. Graham. She and Brian E. Neupert were married in January 1985 for 13 years.

Susan was a dog groomer with Happy Tails for the last five years. Animals were her life, and she enjoyed every minute making them beautiful.

Survivors include her mother, Anna Graham of Scott City; father of her children, Brian Neupert of Oswego, Illinois; two daughters, Kara (Samuel) Schumaker of Scott City and Ashley (Zachary) Zyduck of Jackson; three brothers, Gary (Kathy) Adams of Jacksonville, Florida, Bobby (Becky) Adams of Palmer, Texas, and Roger Graham of Scott City; one sister, Mary (Brian) Stegman of Palmer; and seven grandchildren, Alexia, Alyssa and Ayden Schumaker and Zoey, Zyke, Zandar and Zebediah Zyduck.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy C. Graham.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday at the home of her daughter, 2001 Fornfelt St. in Scott City, with the Rev. Ron Lawson officiating.

The family would like to give special thanks to Legacy Hospice and all of her physicians at Saint Francis Medical Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate monetary donations to help cover expenses, or donations may be made to Happy Tails in her honor.
