SIKESTON, Mo. -- Susan L. Johnson Berry, 57, of Memphis, Tenn., died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, at her residence.
She was born March 12, 1943, in Sikeston, daughter of Allen F. and Mergie Mae Nelson Johnson. Her mother preceded her in death.
She was a 1961 graduate of Sikeston High School and a member and active volunteer at Calvary Episcopal Church in Memphis. She was art director at Cleo, Inc. in Memphis for 15 years.
Survivors include her father; one son, Brent Berry of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Barbara Ayers and Beverly Oliver, both of Sikeston, and Joyce Cummins of Gig Harbor, Wash.; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Canale Mortuary in Memphis.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Doug Bailey officiating.
The body will be returned to Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, and there will be a graveside service at 4 p.m. Thursday at Garden of Memories Cemetery, with the Rev. Kenneth Yerkes officiating.
