Diana Sue Miller, 77, of Jackson peacefully passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Feb. 7, 1943, in Kurreville, Missouri, to John David and Maude Agnes Moore Hanners. She and Mac Miller were married Dec. 19, 1974, at Bollinger County, Missouri.
Sue was an amazing caregiver and homemaker. She loved to garden, can and help her husband on the family farm.
She was loved by all that knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Mac Miller of Jackson; daughters, Lori Ann (Paul Hitt) Long, Teressa Dianna (Danny) Mayfield, Cheryl Ann (Kevin) Pruitt and Jamie Lynn (Marty) DeBrock, all of Jackson; son, Gerald Sitzes of Jackson; brothers, Buck (Brenda) Hanners of Commerce, Missouri, and Johnny Hanners of Jackson; sisters, Linda (Larry) LeGrand of Oran, Missouri, and Wendy Farrow of Jackson; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Hanners of Jackson and Mary Don (Jack) Randol of Millersville; grandchildren, Jason (Jessica) Mayfield, Shayna Mayfield, Brandon (Megan) Sitzes, Chelsi (Collin) Welker, Erica DeBrock, Blake DeBrock and Brandy Farrow; great-grandchildren, Kaylynn, Bayley, Jesse, Maggie, Michael, Ryder, Aaryian, Chloe, Zoey, Addy and Belamy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Deon Hanners.
Due to current gathering restrictions, a private graveside service will be Monday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, with the Rev. Mark Culberson officiating.
