SIKESTON -- Barbara Sue McDonald, 59, of Sikeston, died Sunday, June 11, 1995, at her home. She was born Dec. 27, 1935, in Sikeston, daughter of Claude and Gladys Turner Bonifield. She and Dean L. McDonald were married Nov. 26, 1956. McDonald was a 1954 graduate of Sikeston High School. She lived in Elkhart, Ind., from 1955-75. She had been a telephone operator several years, operated a video store, and had been a hostess at Eagles Aerie 3319. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary...

SIKESTON -- Barbara Sue McDonald, 59, of Sikeston, died Sunday, June 11, 1995, at her home.

She was born Dec. 27, 1935, in Sikeston, daughter of Claude and Gladys Turner Bonifield. She and Dean L. McDonald were married Nov. 26, 1956.

McDonald was a 1954 graduate of Sikeston High School. She lived in Elkhart, Ind., from 1955-75. She had been a telephone operator several years, operated a video store, and had been a hostess at Eagles Aerie 3319. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Dean "Deano" McDonald of Sikeston; a daughter, Rita Bays of East Prairie; a brother, Glenn Bonifield of Albertsville, Ala., and a sister, Dottye Lefler of Morley.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Martin Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens at Morley.
