Sue Mayberry

BERNIE, Mo. -- Sue Mayberry, 66, of Bernie died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at her home.

She was born Oct. 6, 1942, in Bernie, daughter of Lewis Cartwright and Geneva Livingston Cartwright Pyle. She and Gary Mayberry were married June 1, 1963, in Bernie.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Tim (Tracy) Mayberry and David (Jackie) Mayberry all of Bernie; a daughter, Paula (Harold) Miles of Advance, Mo.; six grandchildren, Colten, Tanner, Mason and Logan Mayberry and Grayson and Creighton Miles; two sisters, Barbara Russell of Troutdale, Va., and Helen Bowman of Bernie.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Faith Miles.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Stoddard County Children's Home.
