SUE JOHNSTON

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral for Sue Johnston of East Prairie will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Martin Lucas will officiate. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.

Johnston, 66, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born July 26, 1933, in Mississippi County, daughter of Cecil and Evelyn Abner Babb. She and Loyce Johnston were married March 8, 1952. He died Nov. 10, 1993.

Johnston lived most of her life in East Prairie.

Survivors include a son, Rickey Johnston of Jackson; three daughters, Susan Morris and Missy Kirby of East Prairie, Diane Linley of Chesterton, Ind.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister, and three brothers.
