Sue Helton

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Sue Williams Helton, 51, of Chaffee died Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 15, 1953, at Sikeston, daughter of Dovie Rice Williams. She and Joe Dennis were married Feb. 3, 1973. She and Pete Helton were married March 18, 2000. He died in February 2002.

Mrs. Helton was food court manager at Wal-Mart Supercenter in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a daughter, Dianne McGowan of Chaffee; a stepdaughter, Angie McHarry of Cape Girardeau; two granddaughters, Alexi and Molli McGowan of Chaffee; five brothers, Hardy Williams of Fresno, Calif., Hursel Williams of Morley, Mo., Bobby Williams of Sedona, Ariz., Donnie Joe Williams of Morley, Johnny Williams of Delta; two sisters, Nellie Warren of Scott City, and Carol Carlisle of Chaffee

She was preceded in death by her mother; a son, Keith Dennis; and two brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Cliff Day officiating.
