Glenda Sue Fornkohl, 79, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield, Indiana.
She was born Sept. 17, 1940, in Egypt Mills to the late Glenn and Lena Baker Brockmire. Sue and Delbert Fornkohl were married Sept. 4, 1956, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills. He preceded her in death Sept. 5, 2018.
Sue retired from Nell Holcomb School. She worked in food service. Sue dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time with her granddaughters as she could.
She was a member of Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills.
Loving survivors include her daughter, Dr. Angela (Jerry) Blum of Greenfield; brother, Larry (Emma) Brockmire of Cape Girardeau; and granddaughters, Allison and Claire Blum of Greenfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert Fornkohl; and son, Dennis Fornkohl.
Private graveside service will be held at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery. Private family services were also held in Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3587 County Road 635, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
