Sue Finley, 82, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at her home.
She was born April 12, 1927, at Sebree, Ky., to the late Edgar and Viola Hunter Rideout.
Sue lived in East Prairie most of her life and was retired from Stark Manufacturing in Charleston, Mo. She was of the Baptist faith.
On Dec. 29, 1943, at Charleston, she married Earsell Jess Finley, who preceded her in death April 15, 1985.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Betty Finley of Sikeston, Mo., and Terry Finley of Fresno, Calif.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Wilbur of Kingfield, Maine, and Jeanie Branum of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Ronald Rideout of Evansville, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Bobby and Hugh Rideout; and an infant sister, Helen Rideout.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Shelby Chapel, with Bro. Ted Wimberley officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
