Steven Parker

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Steven A. Parker II, 31, of Perryville died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at his home in Perryville.

He was born Oct. 3, 1980, in St. Louis, son of Steven A. Parker and Brenda S. Sellman Edwards.

Steven worked as a customer service representative for Walmart. He was of the Lutheran faith.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Brenda and John Edwards of Perryville; his father, Steven A. Parker of House Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Jennifer Dorenkamp of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Jonna Edwards of Perryville; two brothers, Nathan Schweigert and Jeff Dorenkamp, both of Ste. Genevieve; his nephew and godson, Connor Parker; paternal grandfather, Richard A. Parker of Eddyville, Ky.; and maternal grandmother, June Tettaton of Herculaneum, Mo.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Terry Tettaton, and paternal grandmother, Nola B. Parker.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Rhinehart officiating. Burial will be in Christ the Savior Cemetery in Brewer, Mo.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent School band program.
