SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Steven M. "Pete" Palermo, 20, of Sedgewickville, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, from an auto accident near Sedgewickville. He was born Jan. 14, 1980, in Baton Rouge, La., son of Stephen W. and Candisa M. Becker Palermo. He was a member of Sedgewickville Baptist Church, a student at Southeast Missouri State University and an active member of the Army National Guard Engineer Unit at Cape Girardeau...

SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Steven M. "Pete" Palermo, 20, of Sedgewickville, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, from an auto accident near Sedgewickville.

He was born Jan. 14, 1980, in Baton Rouge, La., son of Stephen W. and Candisa M. Becker Palermo.

He was a member of Sedgewickville Baptist Church, a student at Southeast Missouri State University and an active member of the Army National Guard Engineer Unit at Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Amber and Megan Palermo, both of Sedgewickville; paternal grandparents, Robert and Penny Palermo of Addis, La.; and maternal grandmother, Janett Becker of Glen Allen, Mo.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Morris Cobb officiating.

Burial will be in Sedgewickville Baptist Church cemetery.
