Steven Orcutt, 56, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Uvalde, Texas, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at his home in Ambridge, PA.
He was born June 23, 1956, in San Antonio, to Eddie Glenn and Vilma E. Molina Orcutt.
Steven was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from June 3, 1974, to June 2, 1978. He worked for Luhr Brothers as a deckhand from 1993 to 2003, and was affectionately known as "Taco."
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Orcutt of Garland, Texas; a grandson, Gavin Orcutt of Garland; his mother, Vilma E. Floyd of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; a sister, Gigi (Dennis) Turner of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Alan (Sherrill) Orcutt of Waxahaxie, Texas; and several nieces and nephews who adored their uncle "Boo."
He was preceded in death by a father and an infant sister.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo., with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will at the cemetery will full military honors by the Missouri Honors Team.
