Steven A. Marberry, 44, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Aug. 1, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, son of Alvin J. and Lillian Blanc Marberry. He and Roslyn C. Penrod were married Nov. 2, 1979, in Cape Girardeau.
Marberry was a cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Justin Marberry of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Ashley Marberry of Cape Girardeau; his father of Cape Girardeau; five brothers, Joe Marberry of St. Louis, John Marberry of Peoria, Ill., Pat Marberry of Cape Girardeau, Michael Marberry of Springfield, Mo., Paul Marberry of Marion, Ill.; two sisters, Laura Sparkman of Cape Girardeau, and Joy Campany of Syracuse, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cape County Memorial Park. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
