Steven Douglas Kesterson, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at his home.
He was born Dec. 20, 1953, in Cape Girardeau to Paul and JoAnn Followell Kesterson Sr.
He and Karri Moonier were married July 7, 1989, in Cape Girardeau.
Steven loved music. He was in a band called Fried Jam and played the drums. He also played drums in the church band.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Brandi (Andrew) Risse of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Abbi Kesterson of Cape Girardeau; grandchild, Jack Risse; sister-in-law, Kay Kesterson; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother, Paul Kesterson II; and daughter, Fallon Fox.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
