SIKESTON, Mo. -- Steven Allen Hadder, 66, died Monday, April 9, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Oct. 22, 1951, in Sikeston to the late Wilford "Jack" and Pauline Russell Hadder. He and Barbara Kelso Hadder married Nov. 28, 1970, in Sikeston, and she survives of the home.

Steven was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War, and was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 5368 at Morley, Missouri.

He worked for Malone & Hyde for 28 years and then was a food distributor for Holloway Distributing in Puxico, Missouri.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Steven Hadder Jr. of Sikeston; two daughters and a son-in-law, Stephenie and Johnny Thompson and Bobbie Jo Hadder, all of Sikeston; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Dewey Harper, Linda and Johnny Greer, and Paula and Jerry Appleton, all of Sikeston; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, with John Hester officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with full military honors.

Pallbearers will be Brian Harper, Jason Barton, Josh Appleton, Matt Zimmerman, Jordan Thompson and Thomas Simpson.
