Steven Lee Foeste, son of the late James "Buck" and Mildred Howarth Foeste was born March 24, 1949, in San Francisco, California, and departed this life Saturday, May 8, 2021, at his home in Cape Girardeau at the age of 72. Steven Lee Foeste, son of the late James "Buck" and Mildred Howarth Foeste was born March 24, 1949, in San Francisco, California, and departed this life Saturday, May 8, 2021, at his home in Cape Girardeau at the age of 72.

Steve joined the U.S. Navy after high school and later graduated from Southeast Missouri State University. Steve retired from Silgan Plastics in 2017.

He was an avid reader, especially the Bible, and golfer.

Survivors include his brother, James "Kimo" (Mary) Foeste of Chaffee, Missouri; three nieces, Michelle Asfour, Kaylee Foeste and Jennifer (Jon) Martin; and nephew, Trenton Foeste.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Foeste.

There are no services scheduled at this time.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
