STEVEN D. SHOEMAKER

ORAN -- Funeral service for Steven Darrell Shoemaker of Oran was held Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Brian Gill officiated, with burial in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.

Shoemaker, 21, died Thursday, May 6, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born July 7, 1971, at Chaffee, son of Steven and Sharon Denise Hamilton Shoemaker.

Shoemaker was a welder at Wheeler Truck Trailer Equipment Co. in Morley, and was a member of Perkins Fire and Rescue Department.

Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; father and stepmother, Steven and Cindy Shoemaker of Oran; three brothers, Wayne Shoemaker of Cape Girardeau, Austin and Clayton Shoemaker of Oran; a sister, Susan Shoemaker of Oran; maternal grandmother, Eva Hamilton of Indianapolis, Ind., and paternal grandparents, James and Verba Shoemaker of Perkins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.
