Steven Coward

DONIPHAN, Mo. -- Claude "Steven" Coward, 71, departed this life Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021.

He was born Jan. 16, 1950, in Jefferson, Indiana, to Claude Coward Sr. and Margaret Ann Bacon Coward Larmie.

Steven was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. He enjoyed watching basketball and baseball on TV. Steven liked to meet new people.

Surviving is a special cousin he thought of as a sister, Sally (Dennis) Walsh, as well as numerous other cousins and friends.

Steven was preceded by his parents; his stepfather, Dewey G. Larmie; and a brother, Howard Denton Cline.

A time of viewing and visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today in the Macedonia Church, followed by a graveside service.

Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan is in charge of arrangements.
