DEXTER, Mo. -- Steven Chase Black, 2, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, Mo. He was born Aug. 11, 1998, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Survivors include his mother, Stephanie Parris of Dexter; his father, Doran Black of Elsberry, Mo.; two brothers, Aaron Parris II and Dawson Rupp of Dexter; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Doris Price of Dexter and Steve Carl of Puxico, Mo.; paternal grandparents, Larry and Carolyn Black of Elsberry; maternal great-grandparents, John and Beatrice Hagy of Dexter; paternal great-grandparents, Jim and Vera Placker of Elsberry and Janice Black of Pennsylvania.. ...

Friends may call at Elsberry United Methodist Church from 4-7 p.m. today. A memorial service will be held at 7.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. James Hagy will officiate. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
