ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Sterling Hunter Wilson, Anna Route 1, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie, Mo.
Wilson, 68, died Sunday, May 9, 1996, at his home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1927, in East Prairie, son of Warner and Kathy Florence Wilson. He and Ramma Dell Magee were married April 9, 1966, in East Prairie.
Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, Dell Shaw of Austin, Texas, Gerald Shaw of Creve Coeur, Ill.; a sister, Francis Gilam of East Prairie; two brothers, Clyde Wilson of Tennessee, and Tommie Wilson of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
