Stephen White Jr.

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Stephen Bernard White Jr., 22, of Sikeston died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at his home.

He was born May 9, 1980, in Sikeston, the son of Ruby Jones of Clarksdale, Miss., and Stephen Bernard White Sr. of Sikeston.

He attended Sikeston High School.

Survivors include: his parents; two sons, Stephen Bernard White III and Stephon LaPrince White of Sikeston; a brother, Carlos S. Jones of Sikeston; two sisters, Kawajalin Jones of Clarksdale and Latashia Jones of Flint, Mich.; a half-brother, Michael Payne of Sikeston; a half-sister, Brooke Payne of Sikeston; his maternal grandmother, Ruby Jones Mosby of Sikeston; his materal grandfather, Joe Henry Jones of Clarksdale; and his paternal grandmother, Carrie B. White of Sikeston.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. Saturday until the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Roosevelt Weakley will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with the Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
