Stephen A. Russo, 63, of Jackson passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 3, 1953, in Los Angeles to Thomas J. and Josephine Pungi Russo.
Stephen was a graduate of Grossmont High School in El Cajon, California.
He spent most of his life in southern California, working over 20 years for Candyland Amusements.
He moved to Jackson in 2012 and was employed by Quality Packaging Industries in Jackson.
Loving survivors include four children, Stephen A. (Tonya) Russo II and children Sydney and Sierra of Jackson, Matt (Chas) Russo and children Collin, Brock and Luke of Jackson, Kory Russo of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Kayla Russo (Michael Elmer) and children Arianna and Alivia of Fort Wayne; his mother, Josephine Russo of El Cajon; and two siblings, Thomas Russo of El Cajon and Marion Russo of Denver.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to service time Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eric Longman officiating.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Paul or Saxony Lutheran schools.
