GULF BREEZE, Fla. — Stephen Presson 62, of Gulf Breeze and formerly of Mascoutah, Illinois, died Saturday, May 25, 2019, in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

He was born Aug. 6, 1956, in Cairo, Illinois, to James Ellis and Louise Marie Grigsby Presson.

Stephen retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

He is survived by his brothers, Stan (Betsy) Presson and Stirling (Susanna) Presson, both of Columbia, Illinois, and Stuart (Anne) Presson of Eastsound, Washington; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Crain Funeral Home in Cairo, Illinois.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds, Illinois.
