Stephen Meier

FARRAR, Mo.-- Stephen Lynn Meier, 49, of Farrar died Monday, June 20, 2005, in Perry County, Mo.

He was born Aug. 28, 1955, in Cape Girar-deau, son of Melvin and Helen C. Biester Meier.

Meier was a truck driver with Gilster-Mary Lee. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Jim Meier of Steeleville, Ill., and John Meier of Collinsville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo., from 4:30 to 9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to noon.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Salem Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wayne Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
