AKRON, Ohio -- Stephen Michel Callin, 26, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017, in Akron.

He was born Aug. 20, 1990, in Titusville, Florida.

He graduated in 2009 from Firestone High School in Akron. He currently was attending Akron University, where he had finished out the semester with a 4.0 grade-point average.

Loving survivors are his brother, Sean Fee; sister, Shannon (Greg) Bain; son, Grant Callin; mother of his son, Danielle Henley; and nephews and niece, Mason Spradlin and Emerson and Bolton Bain.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Callin.

Cremation has taken place.
