Stella Louise Taylor, 62, of Scott City died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, at her home.
She was born March 9, 1947, in Cape Girardeau to Leon and Grace Iona McCulley Givens. She and Larry Gene Taylor were married Aug. 29, 1968, at Crump.
Taylor was a member of New Life Gospel Church in Scott City.
Survivors include her mother of Chaffee, Mo.; her husband; two daughters, Teresa Cobb of Sinajana, Guam, Tonya Blunt of Scott City; two brothers, Jim Givens of Allenville, Jerry Givens of Scott City; a half brother, Chuck Givens of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Lorine Welker of Chaffee, Debbie Anglin of Zalma, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb and Ruthie Cobb, Abigail, Matthew, Lydia and Tabitha Blunt.
Her father, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jack Owens and Gene Peacock officiating. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
