STELLA PINGEL

PERRYVILLE -- Stella M.A. Pingel, 77, of Perryville, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at her home.

She was born June 3, 1922, in Lithium, daughter of Benjamin and Mary Adeline Vessells Feltz. She and Hubert Pingel of Perryville were married Dec. 18, 1944.

She had worked for Sereno School District, Sereno Cafe, Sereno Social Club and the International Shoe Company. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church of Sereno and the Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Victoria Pingel of Perryville; two sons, Terry and Van Pingel, both of Perryville; two brothers, Edgar and E.V. Feltz, both of Perryville; three sisters, DollyMae Welker and M. Dolores Dunker, both of Perryville, and Bernadine Hagan of Woodson Terrace; five grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Monday and from 6:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake service will be at 7 p.m. Monday. The Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at Sereno, with the Rev. Francis Agnew officiating. Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery in Perryville.
