Stella Margaret Headrick Miller, 70, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born June 24, 1925, at Perryville, daughter of William Alexander and Mary Beatrice Reed Miller. She married Clarence Headrick.
Miller had worked as a cook and waitress at Coleman's Barbecue and Southern Cafe. She had also worked at Rozier's Five and Dime in Perryville and Cox's Five and Dime in Jackson.
Survivors are three sons, Clarence "Butch" E. Headrick Jr. of Kansas City, and Quinton "Bill" Headrick Sr. and James B. Headrick, both of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Mary E. Golden and Janet A. Priest, both of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Alfreda C. Bohnert of Cape Girardeau; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Louis Laundhardt officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery.
